University Placement by Student Services Centre (SSC)

On enrollment at Uniprep, students nominate a university and course for which they hope to enroll after completing the Uniprep-UFY program. Early in semester one, students are given a provisional offer of enrollment in a particular undergraduate program at UNSW and on achieving the required final grades, they can be placed directly into that course.

After semester one examinations, Unistart, the international education specialist, provide personal counseling to students on their university options and course choice based on their semester one GPA. Later in the second semester, students must submit a prioritized list of university and course choice. Towards the end of the Uniprep program, a pre-departure briefing session is conducted where all application, enrollment and visa procedures are explained.

Finally at the end of the Uniprep-UFY program, as soon as results are released, Unistart arranges placement at the University and program of choice. If a student does not meet entry requirements, Unistart will arrange placement in another program for which the student qualifies. Visa, accommodation and travel are also arranged by Unistart.
